Getting there and access
Ellis House is a heritage building set in gardens, with free street parking on Milne St. Workshops are usually held in the garden, which is reached by a ramp at the rear of the building, leading directly off the street. There is also a flight of about twelve steps at the front. There are toilets on the ground floor.
If the weather turns, we move indoors to the kitchen, which looks onto the garden. There is one step and a raised threshold between the two.
We work seated at tables for most of the session, and breaks for tea and coffee are encouraged throughout. You're welcome to get up and move around whenever you need to. Please remember that it's still winter and the weather can be a bit chilly so bring a warm sweater or jacket. On a safety note, covered legs and close-toed shoes are the order of the day.
If you have any access needs, or would like to know more before booking, please call or text Garry on 0434 571 441 — happy to talk it through.
